These 24-page, 4-color, English/Spanish language publications were developed to educate Hispanic communities about cancer issues and raise awareness about prevention and control activities that are intended to reduce the burden of cancer among medically underserved Hispanics/Latinas.

A Su Salud En Acción Newsletter
A program newsletter was produced monthly by program staffers and distributed by peer networkers throughout the Hispanic community. To encourage the use of breast and cervical cancer screening, the A Su Salud En Acción program found women in the community who had either received a recent mammogram or Pap smear and featured them as role models in the newsletter to encourage cancer screening for other women in the neighborhood. The A Su Salud En Acción program provides templates for the newsletter, which makes it easy to plug in new stories, headlines, photos and artwork.
